When you stroll through the galleries you’ll be captivated by beautiful masterpieces of art. You will marvel at expressions of art, nature and tradition complementing the breathtaking views of the great outdoors. Sculptures from life-size to miniature in a variety of media are on display. The museum also offers shopping opportunities. The Museum Store is filled with exquisite items which include collectible hand-made art, decoys, jewelry, bird watching items, books and a nicely stocked children section. The store also has Ward Museum, Salisbury and Salisbury University T-shirts, hats, mugs and more.
In addition to ample parking, the museum offers a self-guided nature trail, large picnic and observation deck overlooking Schumaker Pond, interactive children’s theatre and store. The Ward Museum is located a short distance from the Salisbury Zoo. Special tour rates for groups of 15 or more (pre-registration is required).
